Hanging out with the Decepticons would be trying for most people. You’d have to put up with Megatron’s maniacal speeches, Starscream’s high-pitched whining, Skywarp trying to knock you down the stairs, and other little tests of patience. One of those tests would be Dirge, whose grim, nay-saying attitude must have gotten on even the other Decepticons’ nerves at some point.
Admittedly, Dirge’s grim demeanor wasn’t entirely unwarranted. Though his fellow “conehead” jets were all unlucky, Dirge himself seemed even more accident prone than his fellows. He’s very clearly shown being blown up quite thoroughly… twice – first in the animated movie, then again in an episode. And yet, somehow he comes back both times, though neither return is ever really explained.
As one of the jet-type Decepticons, Dirge can be relatively tricky to hunt down in 100% complete form.
