Hot-headed warrior, Cliffjumper was constantly itching for a fight. Despite obvious orders to just do some recon, he tried to take a shot at Megatron – perhaps a decent idea, if he hadn’t missed, with the entire situation ending up accomplishing nothing more than getting one of his Autobot buddies hurt. He apologized afterward.
Moderately paranoid as well as poor tempered, he even accused fellow Autobot Mirage of treason, despite having virtually no evidence of the charge. Again, he apologizes, and again, the viewer is left wondering exactly why Cliffjumper is such a jerk.
He also possessed an oversized cannon that had a tendency to disappear when he wasn’t using it. Convenient.
Cliffjumper sees some of the stranger variations in his toys. For some reason, he’s been released not only as red, but as yellow and blue. Yellow being the most frequent alternate color, he can be easily mistaken for Bumblebee if he doesn’t come with packaging. One of the “mini vehicle” lines, Cliffjumper is relatively common and cheap, with the exception of the above mentioned alternate color models which can be moderately expensive.
