An original Flintstones playset released in the early 1960s came complete with the town of Bedrock. This Flintstones town included accessories like houses, cars, character figurines and dinosaurs. It was made by Marx, and is a nice find for collectors of Flintstone memorabilia, or simply fans of 1960s television shows. Kenner also made a creative hands-on game, Building Boulders, which gave children 100 boulders to engage their building creativity.
There are several different Flintstones playsets, which have been made by various companies since the beginning of the Flintstones history. Popular items such as Colorforms, created a packaged Flintstone set of their own.
