Without question, one of the most endearing moments of the long running (from September, 1960 until April, 1966) animated TV series The Flintstones, was the birth of Pebbles Flintstones.
Pebbles Flintstone first appeared during season 4 and was a sentimental center of the show from that point forward. While possessing an ability to “crawl” in and out of trouble without being harmed, Pebbles exemplifies the cuteness and innocence of infancy.
The voice of Pebbles was played by Jean Vander Pyl (who also played the voice of Pebbles’ mother – Wilma). Later, during the 1970’s, a spin-off called the Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show came onto the scene. During that series, the voice of Pebbles was Sally Struthers.
