Cool and level-headed under pressure, Leonardo is the combat leader of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as possibly being their best combatant. He takes his job seriously, and the other turtles usually seem to respect him for the responsibility. At other times, this seriousness seems to distance him a bit from his brothers – often he would rather curl up with a good book than head to the local arcade.
Unfortunately, this business-like attitude often makes Leonardo come off as the least interesting of the turtles. He might have been the most competent, and the others followed his orders when the fights were more serious, but he wasn’t as wise-cracking as Raphael or Michelangelo, and didn’t introduce cool new gadgets and vehicles like Donatello. As a result, he was generally the least popular turtle among fans.
Getting a copy of Leonardo used for your collection generally isn’t very hard. Be warned, his sword accessories do have a tendency to bend, so if possible try to get a look at them before committing to an opened box.
