Bert and Ernie are two of the most recognizable characters on the TV show Sesame Street. Bert and Ernie are roommates on Sesame Street and have quite different personalities.
Bert is the intelligent and thoughtful one in this very popular duo. He is seen as a little bit boring, doing things like collecting paper clips. Ernie, on the other hand, is easy going and a bit clueless. Ernie is loves his bubble baths and his rubber duckie. Ernie’s Rubber Duckie song actually nearly reached the top of the Billboard charts!
While Ernie has his Rubber Duckie, Bert has Bernice, his favorite pigeon! This little orange (Ernie) and yellow (Bert) Muppets are continuously arguing, as Bert tries to be the voice of reason for Ernie. But, at the end of the day, Bert and Ernie are best friends who would do absolutely anything to help each other.
