Kids throughout the decades have loved playing with toy wagons. It’s just part of childhood to have a wagon to keep their treasures in or, in the case of large wagons, to carry things in. Back in the 1950s, just about every child in America wanted to own a Roy Rogers wagon… a wagon with their hero’s name on it was a prized object!
The wagon was produced in the 1950s and was a replica of the wagon of this very special cowboy’s success. The Roy Rogers wagons were happily snatched up by parents for their children. What could be better than a covered wagon with Roy’s name embossed on it? For those children lucky enough to own one of these wagons, they provided hours of happiness.
