The Roy Rogers show was a huge hit in the 1950s. The on-air spark between the family and the animals will never be as great as it was with Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. Captivated viewers fell in love with the duo, Trigger and Buttermilk (their horses), and their dog, Bullet. After the show aired, companies started making toys, photos, magazines and memorabilia that hosted all of them, including Nellybelle the jeep.
Children who loved the shows wanted badges and guns of their own. Collector’s today search for items from the famous show, including pins, mugs, guitars, covered wagon, movie cards, and whatever else they can find. The Roy Rogers museum has since closed, but for fans of the beloved 1950s television show, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans have places in their hearts.
