My Little Pony has been popular with children for years and there have been several variations that have been release. Earth Ponies are the ponies that did not have a unicorn’s horn or a Pegasus’ wings.
Big Brother ponies were the only male ponies to be released and they were all earth ponies. These ponies had hairy hooves and had names that boys might relate too like 4-Speed, Slugger, and Tex.
Flutter Ponies were touted as bringing good luck to their owners. These ponies were originally pastel colors and had very delicate little fluttering wings which were made of a fragile iridescent plastic.
My Little Pony was so popular that its maker (Hasbro) also made My Little Kitty which was a set of one mother cat with two kittens of her kittens. My Little Bunny was a set of mother rabbits with their two bunnies.
