Of all the characters created from the 1960s science fiction series Lost in Space, the one that is perhaps the most beloved, and best known, is the young son of the Robinson family, Will Robinson. On Lost in Space, Will Robinson was played by young actor Bill Mumy.In the television series, Will is a nine year old child prodigy when it comes to electronics. He becomes good friends with the often-pompous Dr. Zachary Smith. Young Will is actually the only member of the Lost in Space team who has any fond feelings toward Dr. Smith.
