In 2004 the original episodes of Lost In Space were released on DVD. The show followed the story of the Robinson family, which was stranded in space when their mission encountered some problems. Fans of this science fiction hit from the 1960s can now watch the episodes they remember from their youths. The Lost In Space DVD collection encompasses all three seasons of the show, a total of 83 episodes.
One of the features of the released DVDs is that they include interviews with the cast. Also, the original pilot episode which was never aired, and other promotional materials from the late 1960s. The first season, 30 episodes, was filmed in black and white. The final two seasons were done in color.
