Lego Mini Figures are small, plastic figurines that can be used with Lego bricks. Many figures come with Lego building sets, such as those for Star Wars or Lego City, but there are also collector’s edition series figures. Collectible figures come in sealed “mystery” bags, making each purchase a surprise and each figure comes with a collector’s leaflet, display base plate and accessories specific to that character.
Although Lego Mini Figures have been around since the late 1970s, they are becoming a very popular collector’s item today. Figures come in many types of sets. Some sets are based on popular movies, such as Star Wars, Indian Jones and Harry Potter. Other sets are based on characters from life, history or fantasy such as skiers, pharaohs and vampires.
