The two following years brought a resurgence of interest for Hess Toy Truck Collectors. With the re-release of the classic model Hess Truck made in 1964, the 1933 Chevy Tanker Delivery Truck became a reawakened classic. This popular model was brought back not only in 1982, but the following year as well.
As with most Christmas traditions, the Hess Toy Truck’s bestsellers are the vintage styles. Between 1982 to 1983 the classic model reappeared, and with it, the simple convention of Hess Toy Truck Christmas.
