Screeech is a villain from the 1980s cartoon series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. He was promoted as an “evil fighting falcon” and was a savage armored bird that worked for the main antagonist of the series, Skeletor. One can note that Screeech appears to be a counterpart to Zoar, except evil.
His portrayal has varied throughout time. In the Filmation version of the series, he was a robot instead of a living bird. He was introduced in the episode “Fraidy Cat” to attack Castle Grayskull. Another portrayal came in an American picture book that showed Screeech as an alternate form of villain Evil-Lyn. This is especially odd as Screech is depicted as a male character while Evil-Lyn is a female character.
