The Davy Crockett wagon on the television show sparked an interest in viewers. This in turn started the making of covered wagons with the name of the show on them. There was even a version of a full size pull wagon. The metal pull along toy wagon, was made by the famous company, Radio Flyer. (These wagons are very rare today.)
Another pull toy wagon was the Western Prairie wagon that was smaller, but had a canopy and beautiful scenery detailed around the side of the wagon. Because the Davy Crockett Show was such a huge success, there were many companies making the toys and wagons. There were wind-up toys, statues, and toy sets that had wonderful variations of the Davy Crockett wagon, and other famous pioneer toys.
