Collecting Davy Crockett items includes collecting the Davy Crockett trading card. Many of the cards came in the very popular penny bubble gum. Topps, a company known for making sports cards, made a series of 1956 Davy Crockett cards. Once you had a full set of the cards, you could hold them in your hand and flip the cards, making them play a scene from a Davy Crockett movie/episode.
Nickel bubble gum also included a card for collectors to add to their Davy Crockett trading card collections. Unfortunately, the green back cards (made by Topps) in the second series are harder to find than the orange cards from the first series.
