One of the most popular children’s shows of the 1950s was none other than ‘Davy Crockett’. Adults today, who were children during the 1950s are called the ‘Baby boomers’ of today. Most of these Baby Boomers can actually sing the title jingle of the Davy Crockett Show: ‘Davy, Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier’. A lot of those same folks had at least one item in their toy chests that was from the Davy Crockett Show, among these could be a Davy Crockett puzzle. (Puzzles were immensely popular during the 1950s.)
Nearly all the children’s shows from back during that time had some kind of toy, puzzle, or action figure, which today are hot collectors’ items.
