Years before he played Daniel Boone, the tall and rugged Fess Parked portrayed the King of the Wild Frontier, Davy Crockett, in several episodes of Disneyland, better known as Walt Disney Presents. Kids loved the Indian-fighting pioneer who held his own against bears and anyone else he dealt with.
