The Davy Crockett show was an original Walt Disney series and starred Fess Parker as Davy Crockett and Buddy Ebsen as Davy’s sidekick and best friend, Georgie Russell.
The series followed their adventures throughout the 19th century American Frontier and lasted only five episodes before being taken off the air. In 1989, Walt Disney briefly revived the series and once again brought the Davy Crockett hHat to the forefront of American television.
