Milton Bradley’s Yahtzee was invented in the 1950s and is a combination of several dice games. The goal of Yahtzee is to roll five dice in a particular pattern. There are thirteen different combinations the dice can be rolled. Each player is able to try three different times to roll one of the thirteen combinations.
A Yahtzee Large Straight is when a player rolls the five dice which results in a combination of 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 – 6. A Yahtzee Small Straight is when the dice rolled are 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5.
When getting ready to play Yahtzee, make sure you brush up on your simple addition!
