Barbie has starred in many movies since she first came on the scene, over fifty years ago. Some of our favorite fairytales have been converted into Barbie vehicles: Barbie as Rapunzel (2002), Barbie of Swan Lake (2003), Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper (2004), and Barbie in the Twelve Dancing Princesses (2006) are just a few of the Barbie fairytale movie features.
Barbie has also been featured in movies made out of literature’s classics: Barbie in A Christmas Carol (2008) and Barbie and the Three Musketeers (2009) are two prime examples of this. Barbie even guest starred in 1999’s Toy Story 2!
